Anyone gets to have one person that thinks he is always right and will never admit his failures. Yes, we all have that friend that always put the fault on someone else. It also happens in animes to have characters that can never admit they are wrong. That said here are 10 Anime Characters that will never accept they are wrong.

1. Yuno Gasai(Future Diary)

Have you ever done something crazy just to prove that you are right about something? Well, anime characters like Yuno Gasai in Future Diary injured herself in order to show the person she loves Yukiteru that she was right about something even though she wasn’t.

If you have watched the future diary anime, you already know that her murderous actions can’t just be looked away no matter what.

2. Faye Valentine(Cowboy Bebop)

Some anime characters wouldn’t accept they are wrong as a defence mechanism to maintain their loyalty and confidence. Meet Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop had amnesia after experiencing an accident and upon waking up the only people she could trust turn out to be a con artist.

NB: A con artist is a person who cheats or tricks others by persuading them to believe something that is not true.

Faye does not have family and friends to back her up, so denying things even when she is wrong is just a way for her to protect herself against her unjust universe. (NB: This does not mean you should behave wrongly knowing your doings are wrong ones)

3. Matsuri Mizusawa(Citrus)

Meet Matsuri Mizusawa in Citrus another one of the anime characters who will justify her wrongdoing and manipulate others. Matsuri grew up lonely and developed a sceptical and negative view of the world. She is mostly seen as a shameless and manipulative character. But as time passes she learns to live as a normal person.

4. Light Yagami(Death note)

Light Yagami is not only an intellectual anime character but equally good-looking. He believes everything he does is right and due to his perfect nature in the manga and anime, he ought to be perfect himself.

After using the Death Note he develops some god-like complex and thinks everything he does is right. But his complexity eventually leads him to his sinister end.

5. Satoko Hojo(Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)

Getting to strike someone and saying that it’s his/her fault for letting him/her(self) be deceived is quite a knock on the head. Satoko Hojo is a girl in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni who spends most of her time setting traps and telling lies to people but will never admit she is wrong.

She is so proud of her skills that you may never get an apology from her. It’s true that we should be able to distinguish between true and false but that does not mean that we should always be playing hard around people.

6. Nico Yazawa (Love Live!)

Other anime characters in order to protect their public image will never admit they did something wrong. This is the case of Nico Yazawa in Love Live! School Idol Project.

Since she is the eldest of four children, she is responsible for her siblings and household chores and she wants to be loved as an idol. There is even an entire episode in season 2 of the anime that shows how Nico always denies true facts.

7. Katsuki Bakugo(My Hero Academia)

While some anime characters will try to protect themselves by denying facts, some will believe being the strongest is important in order to become a hero. Being the strongest is everything to Katsuki.

So he works hard in order to remain at the top and strongly believes to be strong means to never lose. He is a true self-confident person but indeed while never admits he is wrong.

8. Asuka Langley Soryu(Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Asuka is introduced in Neon Genesis Evangelion with a sense of self-importance. She sees herself as better than Rei and Shinji because she knows she is the most awesome pilot. However, when things turn out bad she always tends to blame others instead of sharing the responsibilities.

9. Akito Sohma(Fruit Basket)

Akito Sohma is the main antagonist-turned-heroine in the manga and anime series Fruits Basket. She is the head of the Sohma family and is cursed by the God of the zodiac.

Akito’s father led her to believe that she is special as the God of the Zodiac and she ends up developing a complex about the Zodiac bond and consequently does several terrible things to the cursed members throughout their lives.

10. Pilaf(Dragon Ball)

If you have watched this anime or read the manga, you will agree with me that it is one of the most denying fact anime characters. Even when his companions Mai and Shu carefully carry out his wishes and the results end out unfavourable, he will quickly blame others.
