After the shopping street, you will see this large vermillion torii gate. Behind it is the Zuishinmon gate. It marks the entrance to Enoshima Shrine

Under the gate, you will find a stone sculpture depicting the goddess Benzaiten and a dragon. It is said that the area was once plagued by relentless storms caused by a five-headed dragon. The goddess Benzaiten touched the surface of the sea to stop the suffering hence creating Enoshima Island.

Enoshima Sea Candle is a popular symbol of Shonan. This observation tower is located in the Samuel Cocking Garden

Enoshima Aquarium is one of Kanto’s leading tourist destinations. Admission tickets for adults are 2500 Yen, 1200 Yen for students and 800 Yen for children. The aquarium offers a full range of programs like the dolphin show, seasonally themed aquariums, exhibitions and the Jellyfish Fantasy Hall

Going back to Enochima land, you will see Enoshima Aquarium right next to the foot of the bridge.

Katase Higashihama Beach
It is the oldest sea bathing beach in Japan since the Meiji era. This beach is equally among the 88 best beaches in Japan. There are 19 toilets at this beach and the swimming season runs from the 1st of July to the 31st of August.
