Rent-a-Girlfriend Confirms Season 2 Release Date, with New Trailer

Reiji Miyaijima’s Rent-a-Girlfriend(Kanojo, Okarishimasu) manga confirms the release date of season 2 this July 2022. The official website of the anime announced yesterday it will premiere in the Super Animeism programming block on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliates. Rent-a-Girlfriend Summary.

Kanojo, Okarishimasu Anime is an adaptation of Reiji Miyajima’s Manga series. It started serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017. Crunchyroll describes the series as follows

“Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old failure of a college student. He managed to kiss his girlfriend once but was dumped after a month. “Ugh… Damn it. I never want to go through that again.” Completely spiteful, Kazuya uses a certain method to date a girl. He goes to their meeting place and suddenly hears, “You’re Kazuya-kun, right?” A beautiful girl brushing her long, black hair behind her ear was there, smiling at him. Her name was Mizuhara Chizuru. Something real is born after just a single rental! A reckless rom-com filled with love and excitement is about to begin!”

As form today, Rent-a-Girlfriend has twenty-five volumes with the latest volume released in February 2022 as from now. Equally, it has 235 chapters as of now. Later on, an anime adaptation of the manga was released here in the partition.

The official Rent-a-Girlfriend website confirms the release date to be on Friday 1, July 2022 at 1:25 AM Japanese Standard Time. It will be on the list of these Summer Anime. The anime will premier on MBS, TBS as well as 26 other affiliates.

The key visual seems to show Chizuru in an amusement park. She is dressed in her uniform, smiling and presenting a sweet and seems joyful. Is it because she is expecting more than a simple date or is it the fact that she is just doing her job of rental girlfriend? Well, we will discover this very soon :).

Rent-a-girlfriend season 2 release date also unveils staff members. Kazuomi Koga known for Rainy Cocoa, Welcome to Rainy Color will be directing the anime at TMS Entertainment. Mitsutaka Hirota will be supervising the scripts. Kanna Hirayama will be the character designer whereas HYADAIN will be the music composer. Equally, we have other returning members such as:

However, the opening of Rent-a-girlfriend season 2 is not yet announced. The season Premiered on July 11, 2020, and the final episode(episode 12) streamed on Crunchyroll on September 25, 2020.

Which Studio will be producing Kanojo, Okarishimasu Season 2?

Kanojo, Okarishimasu is a collaboration between two studios. Studio Comet and Studio TMS Entertainment. TMS Entertainment is also working on Dr Stone Season 3 and  Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2. The studio is well known for  Lupin III and Detective Conan anime.
