Anime Logos and Sign Collection. Anime originate from Japan and is derived from the English word Animation. It describes all animated work or art regardless of style or origin. In many contexts, anime refers specifically to animation produced in Japan.
Whereas animation produced outside Japan with a similar style to Japanese is known as anime-influenced animation.
The anime industry consists of over 430 production companies, including major studios like Studio Ghibli, Sunrise, and Toei Animation. As of 2016, Japanese anime accounted for 60% of the world’s animated television shows.
Before diving into Anime Logos and Sign let’s have a small history of anime in general. Osamu Tezuka is considered to be one famous Japanese cartoonist. One of his works “Astro the Robot” was said to be based on the American animation Betty Boop.
