Hunter x Hunter Manga May Returns from a Long Hiatus

Three days ago Hunter X Hunter Mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi created a twitter account informing us that Hunter x Hunter Manga May Returns from a Long Hiatus. In the twitter he posted a picture with the number six on it and stated “there were four more chapters for now.” Togashi equally commented in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that he has finished the rough drafts for 10 chapters. We know that generally a compiled volume has 10 chapters, so the number 6 may refers to the number of chapters completed out of 10. This mean there are four more chapters to finish.

Nine hour ego He twitted another picture with the number 8 tht may equally mean he has completed 8 drafts and there are remaining 2 to go. We are really excited to the see the outcome of the product 🙂

Another point of attention is the fact that the Yoshihiro Togashi‘s account has up to 2.1M followers in less than a week. Yūsuke Murata (One-Punch Man) confirmed on Twitter that the Twitter account (@Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp) with bio “It is official (). I will mainly tell you the progress of the manuscript.” belonged to Togashi.

Hunter X Hunter Manga Hiatus Period

Since November 20218, Hunter X Hunter has been on hiatus. The manga previously went on hiatus on September 2017 and the author announce that he planned to return before the end of that year. The manga has actually undergone numerous hiatuses.

About Hunter X Hunter Manga

Hunter X Hunter launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1998. It lead to the adaptation of two anime films and several anime titles. Shueisha published the manga’s 36th compiled book volume in October 2018. Viz Media released the 36th volume in North America in August 2019. A second anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in 2014 with 148 episodes and Crunchyroll streamed it . The last episode premiered in 2014.

Hunter X Hunter Plot

It tells the story of a young boy named Gon Freecs who wants to become hunter in order to fine his father and find out why he abandoned him as a baby. In his journey he will meet Killua Zoldyck, the heir to the Zoldyck Family until he runs away from home and becomes a Rookie Hunter. Together with Gon they will fight against many characters and particularly Hisoka who will take a liking for them.

Well we are hoping that Hunter X Hunter Manga finally returns rapidly from this long hiatus period as discussed above. However, Yoshihiri has not yet reveals any particular date of release but we pray that it should come to happen soon.
