Yushima Tenmangu Shrine
This is the first Noragami real-life location we will discuss. The shrine enshrines Sugawara no Michzane a poet and scholar the god of learning. Yushima Tenmangu is also known as Yushima Tenjin as it’s dedicated to Tenjin.
It’s located near Ueno Park and the University of Tokyo which makes it a suitable spot for students to pray wish for good grades and write their academic goals on ema(wooden plaques). Yushima Tenmangu also hosts events throughout the year like the Plum Blossom, Tenjin Festival and Chrysanthemum Festival.
This shrine features in the Noragami as Yato pays a visit to the chief. The shrine is quite beautiful. It’s highly recommended to visit the shrine as it’s quite peaceful and beautiful. Many ema in the shrine even feature characters from the anime
It’s easy to access the shrine. Shinjuku Nishiguchi Station you can take the Oedo Line to Uenookachimachi Station which is just 17 minutes by train

Oizumi-gakuen Station Area
Most locations around the Oizumi-gakuen Station Area feature in the anime. If you walk across Oizumi-Gakuen Station, you will feel like you are revisiting some scenes from Noragami. The anime perfectly replicated the real-life areas so it will be difficult for you to not recognize them.
For example, the Lawson store which appears in many anime locations like Rascals does not dream of Bunny Girl Sempai and is based on the real-life store.
You can access Oizumi-gakuen by taking the Fukutoshin Line from Shinjuku Station to Oizumi-gakuen Station. It’s just a 20-minute ride by train.
