Odd taxi returns with a prologue story, Odd taxi: Diamond wa kizutsukanai for this July

Odd taxi is an anthropomorphic Japanese anime series which tells the story of a 41-year-old driver in Tokyo named Odokwa who happens to be a walrus. A new prologue story entitled Odd taxi: Diamond wa kizutsukanai will run this July 2022.

His life has been difficult too since his parents abandoned him when he was still in elementary school. He grew up without a family figure and did not get involved with other people. He is in fact anti-social and that is why his sudden change became a cause for concern.

Odd taxi, a series by Kazuya Kinoshita was first aired on the 6^th of April 2021. So far, it had 13 episodes and the last one aired on the 29^th of June 2021.

What is Odd Taxi About?

ODDTAXI: Diamond wa kizutsukanai is a prologue of the ODD TAXI anime. Diamond wa kizutsukanai centres around the aspiring idols who make up the Mystery Kiss group. Odokwa had a conversation with one of the upcoming idols as well as other people who led him to the disappearance of a college girl. It was a time when Tokyo seemed to be going through a rough time with the presence of elevated crime and mysterious occurrences. So Odokwa took interest in the situation. Hence decided to investigate and get answers for himself. He does this by asking questions to his passengers who give him answers which gradually unveil some mysteries. This gives him more information on the strange occurrences including the school girl who strangely disappeared without a trace or leads. This decision of his made him a target to the police and the Yakuza.

As good as the anime was, odd taxi returns with a prologue story odd taxi: Diamond wa kizutsukanai that will run on stage this July. The play will take the stage this July from the 7^th to the 18^th, at the Shibuya cultural centre Densho’s Hall in Tokyo.

The manga creator Kadzuya Konomoto is returning with Odd taxi: diamonds, diamonds cannot be damaged. It is a prologue story with the mystery idols as the centre of focus. The director of the piece was Baku Kinoshita alongside Norio Nittac who was the deputy director. They did a great job with odd taxi, and this will no doubt be just as good or even better.

Who are the members of the mystery kiss group Odd taxi: Diamond wa kizutsukanai ?

The mystery kiss group has four members; Rui Nikaido is the idol group member whose role will be played by Yui Oguri. She is incredibly beautiful and ambitious and also happens to be the centre or main person. The second member of the group is the naturally talented Yuki Mitsuya played by Nonoka Yamaguchi. Then there is the timid Shiho Ichimura played by Hitomi Suzuki. Lastly, we have Sakura Wadagaki who did not even manage to make it through the auditions. Despite her shortcoming, she is the key to the story.

Honestly, the coming of this play is raising mostly questions without answers and this is adding flair to it. The play coming in July will put an end to the suspense and answer the questions hanging in the minds of the viewers. You don’t want to miss this.
