Psycho Pass! What a marvel produced by the animation studio, Production I.G. This Japanese animation series written by Gen Urobuchi has seduced more than one. Science fiction, thriller, dystopia, cyberpunk and a very clever mix of suspense are part of the great success of anime. Airing on Fuji TV between October 2012 and March 2013, the anime has proven to be among the scariest anime series. Having made many followers, we went in search of the real life places of Psycho Pass to experience the same events as our favorite characters. These Psycho Pass Real-life locations are not quite much but if you are still interested, continue reading through.
Unfortunately, you will be a little disappointed because Psycho Pass Real-life locations do not run the streets due to the fact that the anime universe takes place in the distant future, more precisely in 2112.
However, we managed to find two Psycho Pass locations in real life that we present to you through this article.
Psycho Pass Real-life locations
In season one of Psycho Pass anime, we can see Akane Tsunemori and Shinya Kogami at the Shimbashi Station to investigate the Yuki Funahara trace. Thanks to their research, they enable us to find our real life locations.
SL Square
The first Psycho Pass real life place is the SL Square located in Shimbashi station. Being on the scene, you will need to seek the Hibiya Exit. By taking this exit you will come face to face with the SL Square.

Shimbashi Tokyo Metro
The second Psycho Pass real life location is the Ginza Exit at Shimbashi station. The spot does not look exactly like the real place, but you can notice some details.

Are Psycho Pass Real-life Locations Worth Visiting?
To be frank, we don’t advise you to venture out in search of these real life locations of Psycho Pass. Apart from the fact that they are not numerous, they are also not attractive. Only go there if you live in Shimbashi or if you really are a big fanatic of the anime. Nevertheless, if we found any real life place of Psycho Pass worth visiting, we will be sure to update the article.
However, we recommend that if you take a trip to Tokyo, visit these other anime real life locations like Sailor Moon, Bungo Stray Dog Bar, Death note. Psycho Pass Real-life locations may be least amazing than the one listed above.
What to know about Psycho Pass?
The Manga
Psycho Pass manga adapted from the series illustrated by Hikaru Miyoshi, titled Inspector Akane Tsunemori, was pre-published in the magazine Shūeisha Jump Square between November 2, 2012, and December 4, 2014.
A second manga titled Psycho-Pass: Inspector Shinya Kôgami began on June 30, 2014, in Monthly Comic Blade magazine then resumed in Monthly Comic Garden magazine between September 2014 and the end of 2017.
The second season of the anime was also adapted into a manga in the Monthly Comic Garden magazine between 2014 and 2017. An animated film entitled Psycho-Pass: The Movie followed the second season of the series
The Anime
The production of the animated television series was announced in March 2012 and Production I.G was in charge of it.
The 22 episodes air in the noitaminA time slot from October 12, 2012, to March 22, 2013, grouped into eight DVD/Blu-ray box sets released between December 21, 2012, and July 26, 2013, in Japan. The series is licensed by Funimation Entertainment in North America.
A second season and an anime movie were announced at Anime Expo 2013. The second season premiered on October 9, 2014, on Fuji TV in Japan.
In March 2019, the third season was announced to air in October 2019 on Fuji TV’s noitaminA time slot. In the same year, a film trilogy named Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System arose, followed by the animated film Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector in March 2020.
Season three ended with many unexplained aspects. This makes room to continue a fourth season. However, we do not have much information about its release but we remain positive about his arrival.
