Top Platinum End Angels and Their Levels

In Platinum End, angels play an important role and have a direct impact on the storyline. Their primary role is to retrieve human souls who have passed away but there are thirteen angels, selected by God to participate in the God-choosing process and seek his replacement. These top Platinum End angels, depending on their rank, can grant their candidates some supernatural abilities.

The Angels’ Ranking System Explained

In the ranking system, four different levels exist. From the highest to the lowest, we have: special-rank, first-rank, second-rank, and unranked levels. Angels can be promoted to a level above them or downgraded to a level below.

Of the thirteen chosen angels, three are special-ranked, seven are first-ranked, and three are second-ranked. The higher their levels, the more abilities they can offer to their God candidate.

The special-rank angels grant their God candidates Wings, Red Arrows, and White Arrows; first-rank angels may give their God candidates Wings and Red Arrows; and second-rank angels may only give their God candidates either a pair of Wings or Red Arrows.

The Top Platinum End Angels and Their Levels

The following top Platinum End angels are categorized according to their ability and levels

The Special-Ranked Angels

This is the class that gathers the most powerful of the top Platinum End angels as they can attribute full powers to their candidates. There are three special-ranked angels in the series, which incorporate these characters:

Nasse

Angel Nasse, zerochan.net

Nasse is an angel with short white hair, long wings, and big red eyes. She is the Angel of Purity and she chose Mirai Kakehashi, one of the strongest Platinum End characters, as her God Candidate. Nasse is very good at detecting lies.

According to Angel Revel, if Nasse claimed that someone was telling the truth, then it is bound to be true. Nasse’s objective is to help Mirai achieve happiness because she wants to become the angel who serves next to God.

Meyza

Angel Meyza, zerochan.net

Meyza, the Angel of Greed, did not show too much about her personality throughout the series, yet she is one of the top Platinum End angels. Nevertheless, she appeared to be pitiful towards the other candidates.

She pushed Kanade, her God candidate, to manifest evil plans claiming that the fastest way to become God was to kill the other candidates.

Muni

Angel Muni, anisearch.com

Muni just looks like the Angel she is; destruction. In comparison to other angels, her body appeared decayed and deteriorated.

She had at least six wings on her head, including ones covering her eyes and others on her upper body and waist.

The First-Ranked Angels

This is the second class of angels and where most of the top Platinum End angels are categorized. Wholly, there are seven of them:

Revel

Revel seems to have a manipulative personality but later on in the series, he was influenced by Mirai and Nasse and somehow got a kinder personality. He chose Saki as his God candidate and he cared for her.

He felt so bad that he shed tears because he could not offer a pair of wings to Saki as he was initially a second-rank angel. This compassionate act towards Saki touched God and he promoted him to a superior rank, enabling him to offer a pair of wings to his candidate.

Revel was at first the Angel of trickery but when he got promoted to the first rank level, he became the Angel of Emotion.

Baret

Angel Nasse & Angel Baret – Platinum End, Pinterest

I particularly love Angel Baret for the reason that she has gorgeous green eyes and a monocle on her left eye. Baret is the angel that chose Nanato Mukaido as her God candidate. She has a gentle personality and knows everything since she is the Angel of Knowledge.

According to Angel Revel, Baret knows everything from Heaven’s history and she is always ready to share her knowledge.

A fun fact about Baret is, she was at first a special-ranked Angel but was demoted to the first rank. The reason behind this was that she was “a know-it-all’ but that does not prevent her to be one of the top Platinum End angels.

Egura

She has short white hair with golden circular patterns at the ends, her bangs merge with her hair which leaves her right eye covered.

Emaka

Angel Emaka, waifus.wiki

Emaka arrived on earth, where she chose Shogo Hatakeyama as her God candidate. She has short white hair and a front bang which has a golden band warped around it.

Balta

Angel Balta, zerochan.net

Balta is an angel that possesses a great sense of intuition. He immediately figured out what type of person Metropoliman was without having too much information on him. He also has a supportive attitude regarding his master, Hajime Sokotani, who always advises him on multiple occasions.

Angel Balta or the Angel of Intuition, is naturally smiling, cheerful and has a certain charm. Of the top Platinum End angels, he is my favorite.

Penema

Angel Penema, platinumend.fandom.com

Penema was Susumu’s angel during the God-choosing process. He helped Susumu throughout the competition as his angel partner. Penema is the Angel of games.

Ogaro

Ogaro, waifus.wiki

One of the top Platinum End angels selected Shuji Nakaumi as her God candidate. Ogaro is the Angel of Darkness.

The Second-Ranked Angels

This is the level containing the less powerful of the top Platinum End angels. They include:

Jami

Jami, platinumend.fandom.com

Angel Jami has short white hair and a golden band around her forehead. She selected Chiyo Nakayama as her God candidate.

Luta

Angel Luta, platinumend.fandom.com

Luta selected Tonma Rodriguez as his God candidate.

Yazeli

Angel Yazeli, waifus.wiki

He was one of the thirteen angels who selected Yuri Temari as his God candidate. Yazeli ends the top Platinum End angels’ list and is the Angel of Truth.
