Quintessential Quintuplets follows the story and Futaro Uesugi who works as a private high school tutor and tutors five identical quintuplets. He mother died and he has no friends and on top of that his father has to pay a large amount of debt. The quintuplets seems to have no interest in studying and some of them are even against having him as a tutor. However as time pass Futaro gradually win their sympathy. Throughout the story, Futaro develops a unique relationship with each quintuplets.

There are a total of two seasons. The first season premiered on January 2019. Crunchyroll streamed the series whereas Funimation offered an English dub.
