Death Note is a quite beautiful anime with a great story and interesting action. Death Note anime centers around a young man named Yagami Light who is sick and tired of all the crime in the world. His father is a police officer and he sees how criminals violate the rights of the weak and go scot free and he wishes he could do something about it.

To his advantage, a death god by the name of Ryuk is bored and decides to drop his death note to the earth to see what humans will do with it. This death note is a book in which when the name of a person is written in it while picturing the person’s face, the person dies depending on the specifications of the mode of death.

This book falls in Light’s high school and he picks it up. He goes through the book and starts testing out the efficiency of the book on criminals. The government soon realizes that there is something abnormal going on and starts investigating to find out who is killing these people.

Light then goes by the name Kira but nobody really knows the person behind the name Kira. The investigations go on for a while and although a couple of people die in the process, they finally discover who is behind the killings.

The story of Death Note is interesting and particular, especially to those who love movies and any form of entertainment which displays intelligence. The Hibiya Park

Hibiya Park is Japan’s first public western-style park with beautiful greenery and other amazing spots which are appealing to the eyes.

The park has a small Museum, Library, a public hall and a tennis court where you can have fun and make the most of your time there.

It is one of the real-life locations of death note and it is seen when Light and Naomi, an FBI agent on the Kira case, go for a walk. It is rather unfortunate that he writes her name in the death note.

The Imperial Hotel

On our list of real-life locations of Death Note to visit, we have the magnificent imperial hotel. This hotel is shown in the scene where the Kira task force meets up with L for the first time. The anime did a great job representing the hotel.

It is very luxurious with facilities like a pool, free wifi access, bars, lounges, fitness rooms, a great business center and comfortable rooms according to desire. It has a record of being one of the best hotels in Tokyo in terms of hospitality.

Shibuya Crossing 

Unlike some of the other places which hold significance in the anime, the Shibuya crossing is one of those places which are used to set the scene for an important scene or action. There is no particular action which is tied to this place.

However, it is still a death note real-life location. The Shibuya crossing is a scramble crossing with many pedestrians using it. Vehicles are stopped from all the exits so that people can cross and move. It also has 3 large advertising screens on the buildings facing the crossing.

It could be an interesting real-life location of Death Note to visit if you like crowded places.

Shinjuku Station

This place is the spot where Light meets Raye Penber and talks to him to hide his identity. Raye is one of the FBI agents who was on the Kira investigation case.

Both of them stand beside the Lotteria fast food joint to have this conversation and Light writes his name in the death note after that meeting. The Lotteria is a real-life location of death note and it is a popular fast food chain in Japan.

The Shinjuku Station is one of the busiest railway stations in the world and it could be fun to visit and be a part of that traffic. You could also grab a bite from the Lotteria fast food joint in the station and just relax.

The Children’s Tree

Another one of Death Note’s real-life locations is the children’s tree in Aoyama. It is seen when L meets Light and Misa in a place near the Aoyama Gakuin University. Misa who is also known as the second Kira is arrested soon after that meeting.

I am not quite sure of how much fun you can have at the location of the Children’s Tree but visiting it as one of Death Note places in real life could be interesting to you as an anime tourist.
